hmmm, this week has been rather slack... which is gd in a way... can rest more... ;)

monday i had my first driving lesson. my instructor passed me over to some weird replacement cuz he was ill... and this guy started the lesson off so weirdly! i couldn't understand what he was saying at all, and after 5mins of talking in some weird foreign-like lingo... i got in the drivers seat and drove. haha! well, i had a shock initially... the car is so nice to drive!!! everything is smooth and sensitive, the steering is good... its perfect. haha, all my fellow signals friends who went on driving course... u're gonna love this man... ;) the rear view mirror is actually of use did i mention? and u're not looking at the road from ten feet above... plus the vehicle can't stall... haha! well it can, but, we wun stall it for sure... ;) but anw, the instructor crazily made me do right turns, and drive thru tiny roads with cars all over the place, so i had to squeeze thru tiny gaps, and shocked me somemore by trying to poach me while i was driving. lol... i left totally amused. not too fun it was... just hope i get over and done w soon... :P can't wait man!

tues - i didn't go to sch. was soso lazy... :X my pbl grp decided to sabo me cuz i was the leader and didn't turn up... now i've lotsa research to do! wanted to play tennis in the morning, but it rained - so actually, i could've gone to sch. but well, i did play in the evening, so i was pleased. looking at the sun and all, its so nice... i wish i could just spend more time outdoors... it'd be great. i love where i stay... the breeze, the landscaping... everything is great. makes me feel happy when i'm walking home or just walking around downstairs... :)

wed... slack day again, but prof raj was on a roll during lecture. made me laugh soo much.. and had some fun! managed to watch harry potter... :) i think it was much better than prisoner of azkaban... must be the change in director. it was much more fast paced, and the scenes were of far more use. however, ian wanted it to be 4+ hours long so every lil bit of the book can be portrayed. was fun just walking round and talking in orchard b4 the movie... we talked a lot of nonsensed... and used aud's phone to prank msg many pple and getting... really amusing replies... ;) also met kahyat and grace on the bus! haha, its been a while. they look good together... it felt gd to catch up... and find out new things of course... ;)

oh but sth silly happened... my phone ran out of batt along the way home. bah. then, i realised i didn't take my keys out. and then.... no one was home. shit, i waited outside the house for like 40mins? took a long walk downstairs... luckily it was windy and wasn't raining... so it was nice weather once again. but sighs, what are chances of this happening? :(

today, i headed down to the wards for PDP... supposed to learn abt interview skills and all. i felt our prof was kinda cold towards us, but nicer to the patients... well, i guess its more impt to be nice to the patients. but still... patients have generally different reactions to seeing a huge bunch of students crowding round and talking to them. some get scared, some are chatty and happy... and others seem to take it all v normally... :) haha. well, some pple felt they didn't learn anything from this trip and tt they'd rather be studying... but i thot it was quite a gd thing tt we were there. it really helps us to understand how we go abt making a diagnosis and to communicate with the patient. in the end, we need to have the knowledge, but it is really the application of the knowledge tt is more impt...

b4 PDP, was trying to tie my tie... and it was just ludricous. either too short, too long, or just.. not rite... :( then, i had to call in a patient, so i opened the door and shouted towards the chairs. then this lady sitting underneath me next to the door looked up and said, tt's me. quite dumb. then these M5s came in too... they were preparing for their final exam. they seem quite desensitized in certain respects, and quite proficient as well in any case. then, i was outside and i suddenly commented they didn't look so haggard. and lo and behold, the door had opened moments ago, and the M5 was there. he turned ard and shot me a look... and i was like... ok, oops. the other pple were like... u didn't see him? i might have, but i dunno, didn't register?! :(
